The impact of MMT by OWA on my life has been transformative.
I had been an active person or so i had known. I loved swimming, cycling and yoga. Hiking a mountain if i get the chance. These would only be summer passions. And i would not continue them post summers. Years went by, lifestyle became stagnant. So much so that I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It led to addressing the problems in my then lifestyle. I had to address difficult questions. Everything was overwhelming.
For for 2 years i tried multiple programs, or tried building a routine on my own. Sometimes i would stick to it. But would usually fail to continue and return to older stagnant lifestyle.
I know this was not sustainable i needed a routine had could incorporate into my lifestyle. The one i could sustain.
My closest friend introduced me to Archita and the M&M program. She is one person who hated working out. And she was a changed person and was now in love with it. I got curious and i wanted to try out. Archita's approach to healthy lifestyles is anchored towards sustainability.
The first to change was my mood. I generally felt better moving moreand getting my body to work. Even before the scale moved down, i started feeling stronger and confident in my body. I just followed one thing and that was consistency. The scale finally started dropping and once it did. It didn't stop.
I started this journey without a deadline and a specific end goal in terms of weight. The only goal for me was to keep at it. And the biggest challenge was to show up and stay consistent throughout all kinds of days. I felt weak on some days, some were low and on others i was simply unmotivated.
Getting to see the girls come workout day in and out helped. I just had to show up. And rest was taken care of. After the session I always felt better. Everyday i see the M&M community do their bit to stay active and moving through their busy lives. My friend and i help each other stay consistent and Archita makes sure that we are accountable. It is easily one of the best decisions i took last year.

I am down a few kilos and i couldn't be happier. I love my body, i love how strong it feels. I love working out. And i don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
The biggest challenge still remains to keep showing up. Routines change, plans change. How you show up for yourself matters.
